"Butterflies Are Free" featured traditional cedar weaving, painting, silkscreening, button blankets and quilts created by workshop participants.

 

"Butterflies Are Free" was a downtown eastside grassroots exhibit that features women who live in the downtown eastside, have experienced street life and who have discovered a means of

finding their voice through the arts.
